AERONAUTICAL INFORMATION SERVICE   The Aeronautical Information Service is responsible for the collection and dissemination of information for the entire territory and territorial waters of the state and for airspace over the high seas in which Turkey exercise its FIR responsibility.   The Aeronautical Information Service (AIS), which forms part of the Air Navigation Department of the General Directorate of State Airports Administration (DHMI) ensures the flow of information necessary for the safety, regularity and efficiency of international and national air navigation within the area of its responsibility.   Aeronautical Information Service consists of AIS Headquarters, International NOTAM office (NOF), Flight Information Center (FIC) units at Esenboğa and Atatürk Airports and other AIS units established at certain aerodromes.
